Aug 18-22: 4TH ANNUAL BIKERS FOR MDA at 1500 Sunset Dr (Civitan Park), Guntersville. Music by Kentucky Headhunters, Crossfire, Hidden Element and Fat Mama. Open to the public. Aug 21: The Friends of Oakwood Cemetery will be sponsoring a Charity Motorcycle Run in an effort to raise funds to honor the Unknown Confederate Dead interred in Tuscumbia’s Oakwood Cemetery Tuscumbia AL.  Registration from 10:30–12:30 at ColbertCounty Board of Education, 1101 US Hwy 72, Tuscumbia, AL (256) 757 5497.  Donation of $20/rider and $15/passenger will include food and cash prizes.  Join us for the Cause and a lot of fun!

 

Sep 10: RIDE to Talladega SuperSpeedway. Bikers for Babies - AMA sanctioned, escorted rides from Anniston, Birmingham, Dothan, Montgomery, & Huntsville to the Talladega SuperSpeedway. Ride the track, catch the bands, grab a bite, and remember to get your photo in Victory Lane. $35.00 per biker/$15.00 per passenger. This fundraiser benefits the March of Dimes. Sep 16-18: GWRRA SOUTHEAST REGION A RALLY at Lakepoint Resort Lodge and Convention Center, US-431 N Eufaula. Registration begins at noon. Entry fee $30/member, $35/non-members and $10 ages 13-15 years old. Sep 18: 17TH ANNUAL TRAIL OF TEARS COMMEMORATIVE MOTORCYCLE RIDE. Ride begins at Ross’ Landing in Chattanooga, TN and leaves at 8am. The ride will travel to Lincoln County High School, Fayetteville, TN for a rest/lunch/fuel stop. Entertainment and food vendors available.
