Jul 31: The 2010 Poker Run for the Children of Civitan. In memory of “John Big Boy Denning”
Fee: $15/rider, $10/passenger, Registration starts @ 9am. FBO @ 11am. Lunch provided. Live music. 50/50 Raffle, door prizes and best looking bike competition (To be judged by the children of Civitan). Open to all vehicles, if you ride it, drive it or fly it, come out and help the children of Civitan. The route will take us from Bayside H-D, Portsmouth to the Camp Civitan Park.

 

Aug 6-8: BIKE-O-RAMA 14 Motorcycle Rally.NEW LOCATION: Burnouts Bar & Grill, 7151 Hwy 158, Saraland. I-65 Exit 13, 6 miles West on Hwy 158.Gate opens Friday at Noon. Kickstart Party Friday night. All makes of motorcycles welcome. Live Music. Motorcycle Shows, Ride and Games. Contests. Horseshoe Tournament. Motorcycle Related Vendors. Food and Drink Vendors. Wi-Fi Zone. $20 per person. Must be 21 or older. Presented by Bay Minette Civic Club, proceeds benefit needy people. Free Primitive Camping. Hotels nearby. Aug 13-15: AMA PRO RACING CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. Virginia International Raceway in Alton.  More information will be provided as it becomes available. This Series is dedicated to providing everyone with the most quality motorcycle racing. www.amaproracing.com

 

Aug 14: Post 1976 AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS BBQ BASH, 4206 Daniels Ave, Annandale, VA. All you can eat BBQ, Hooters Bike Wash from 2-4pm, Door prizes and raffles. Proceeds to support the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Program. Starts at 1pm til ? 

 

Aug 14: Pamplin Volunteer Fire & EMS Dept, Pamplin, VA will host its annual Poker Run fundraiser in efforts to raise the resources needed to continue to provide rescue service for the counties of Appomattox, Charlotte and Prince Edward Counties and the Town of Pamplin.  $10/hand, bike show and bike rodeo, silent and live auction, children activities, free vendor spaces, food available, New this year, Antique Car Show, concert at 7pm - 12am featuring "Rare Form." FBO @ 9AM, LBO @ 11AM. Enjoy this 89 mile ride through Prince Edward County w/5 stops at neighboring depts and an extra card at the return stop. Aug 21: 7th Annual Martinsburg Bike Night in Martinsburg WV, 5-11pm. Sponsored by West Virginia Blue Knights Chapter V & Main Street Martinsburg. Vendors, Local Restaurants open. Registration 2-5pm. Begin at Rt. 11 North. Rally starts at Berkley Plaza parking lot at 2pm with a ride through the valley. Street festival begins at 5pm. Live bands, vendors, food, rock climbing wall, displays and beer garden. No parking downtown until 6pm. Ride lead by Erik Estrada “Ponch” from CHIPS. Proceeds to WV V and Hospice of the Panhandle. Aug 28: 2ND ANNUAL RIDE FOR THE PIRATE.$10 per rider/$5 per passenger. All riders, bikes & non-riders are welcome. Registration from 10am to 11am in parking lot of Hampton Roads H-D, 6450 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Rte 17, Yorktown, VA.
